PREFACE

My 88^th friend on certain social network came into my life suggesting that I channel my “freaky Neptunian message of unity” into the written word.  He compelled me toward this end rather out of the blue and at a time when I was paying copious amounts of attention to the number 88 and concepts of unity.  Before I could respond he furthered his first letter with a second; wondering if I had noticed he was my 88^th friend, and if I knew that 88 was synchronistically related to Neptune and the Unified Field theory?  He had my attention.

It called to mind a time four years ago (and now, longer) when I had stood at a crossroads.  For quite some time I had put forth equal energies into two similar but seemingly divergent paths and I’d come to a place where the apparent dichotomy made straddling no longer possible; I only saw that I had to choose.  I went for the path of “getting the information out there”, which seemed the best way to act in Service to the Whole.  I stripped my Passion of all things personal to me and accomplished many of my goals pertaining to Knowledge systems and idea sharing…

Yet with Time I began to Understand why opposite to “Knowledge systems” (Aquarius) on the Astrological beam are the systems of Unfolding and Becoming (Leo).  Together these concepts rule the New Age – a cosmic partnership compelling the discovery and experiential development that then allows us to go into the world and “Become” what we Know.

Rather divinely, it was near to the moment when I was realizing this that the Universe re-invited me, through my 88^th friend, to reconsider the course I had set aside.  Contributing (the energy, skill, intellect, etc.) of Self is one thing, but contributing of the uniqueness of Self – expanding Self-Knowledge and then unfolding that Knowledge and allowing it to Become your “input” is something else entirely.  If everyone were in a position to input their unique individual admixture – their Sacred Offering – into the combination of the Whole, we truly would have a society reflecting the Divine!  I feel passionate about this, yet had largely separated my own distinctive Fire from my Work.

Contemplating the insight of my 88^th friend, I was able to see how there had never been crossroads at all, save within my own mental construct.  With Neptune on the Sagittarian Ascendant of my birth chart, I was undeniably born with a Neptunian vision of connectedness, and seem to eventually reverse the appearances of division into a perspective of inherent ONENESS – apparently even if the process sometimes takes me years!  In fact, I was once so keenly Aware of Neptune’s impression on my consciousness that I took Neifion meaning “Neptune” as my surname, and developed a viable profession as an Astrologer and Intuitionist.  But here I was, having obscured so much of my driving Force, dividing and limiting my unique contribution in the name of palpability!

I returned to the “Daughter of Neifion” blog I’d unpublished and abandoned back at those perceptual crossroads.  I didn’t need anything more but became additionally motivated and inspired toward integration with my “freaky” Self upon the discovery that I’d made my first entry there on August 8^th, under the heading 8-8.  Oh, Neptune, Father whom I adore!

This Blog is my attempt at sharing the more personal and revelatory aspects of my Deepest Passions.  I am good with the nuts and bolts of correlating and structuring Knowledge and its systems, but not so practiced with an individualized, self-emanating stance.  Like the previous Daughter of Neifion blog, I intend to make Blog 88 something like a magical journal – a repository of musings, dreams, discoveries, notes and interests.

My Burning Desire is for refinement on a societal scale.  Quite simply, this is why I am alive.  I serve Liberation through Self-Realization.  Seeker, Know Thyself!

And by the intensity of my longing I am agitated toward a constant striving for greater States of Union with Self and Others.  Conscious Union and intentional correlation is prerequisite to acting within the higher systems of existence.

My Heart beats with the rhythm of a New Culture.  My continuing intent is to unfold a lifestyle for myself and my dear ones, within the context of a Spiritual community that manifests this pulse.

And now, in the days preceding the Equinox, I am prompted by the Sun’s passage into Aries to initiate action for the sake of the collaborative spirit of this Full Libran Moon.
